Terms of Service

The service

Recast turns screenshots, videos, and screen recordings you provide into text prompts for AI website and app builders. Outputs are generated by AI and can be incomplete or inaccurate. Accuracy figures we publish (such as 91% in Precise mode) are averages measured on real designs, not a guarantee for any single result. Please review prompts before relying on them.

Your account

• You must be at least 18, give accurate information, and keep your password safe. You’re responsible for activity on your account.
• One person per account. Creating multiple accounts to collect extra free credits isn’t allowed.

Your content, and other people’s

• You keep ownership of what you upload and of the prompts Recast writes for you.
• Only upload material you have the right to use. Recreating a design can involve other people’s copyright, trademarks, and brand assets. You’re responsible for how you use prompts and anything you build from them, including getting permission where it’s needed.
• You give us permission to process your uploads only to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Recast to:

• infringe intellectual property, or create phishing pages, impersonations, or deceptive copies of other businesses;
• upload illegal content, malware, or personal data you don’t have the right to share;
• get around credit limits, rate limits, or payments, probe or disrupt our systems, or scrape the service;
• resell access to Recast without our written permission.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Plans, credits, and payment

• Each generation uses credits. Current prices and credit costs are on the Pricing page.
• Paid plans renew automatically each billing period until you cancel. Monthly credits reset each period and don’t roll over.
• Credit packs don’t expire while your account is open. Credits have no cash value and can’t be transferred.
• Payments are processed by our payment provider, which may act as the merchant of record and add applicable taxes. We may change prices with advance notice; changes apply from your next billing period.
• All purchases are final and non-refundable; you can cancel any time to stop future renewals. See our Refund & cancellation policy.

Founding offer

The first 10 people to confirm their email on the pre-launch waitlist get the Pro plan free for one month, starting when they create an account with the same, verified email address. After that month the account moves to the Free plan unless the person subscribes. The offer is personal, can’t be transferred or exchanged for cash, and one per person. We may withdraw a spot claimed through fake or duplicate accounts.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Recast available, but it’s provided “as is”, without guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue a paid plan, we’ll give notice and a pro-rata refund of prepaid, unused time.

Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Recast isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or data), and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Recast and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated breaches of these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, liability, and governing law) continue after termination.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts of India, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.

Changes to these terms

If we update these terms, we’ll change the date above and, for material changes, notify you by email before they take effect.
